| Name one creature besides Bloodbraid Elf in Jund that is not black. Also against the blue/white control they often run Sphinx of Jhar Isle in which case Doom Blade seems useless unlike Duress. Of course against Mythic any removal is better than duress. I guess it comes down to what I think I will be playing against the most on Friday.

| Sprouting thrinax tokens and broodmate tokens, along with Obstinant Baloth that new builds should be running. I'm pretty sure there won't be much jund there this friday, as Evan and I aren't running it. Usually alot of mono red beatsus at the horse, doomblade seems better in that MU.

| True I always forget about Smother but for the same mana at instant speed Doom Blade kills Baneslayer and Smother does not.

| Doom Blade is better if you expect lots of creture decks, and Duress is better if you expect lots of control decks.
Good non-black creatures include Baneslayer Angel, Knight of the Reliquary, Lotus Cobra, Rafiq of the Many, Rhox War Monk, Goblin Guide, Ball Lightning, Obstinate Baloth, Siege-Gang Commander, Fauna Shaman, Primeval Titan, Vengevine, Sphinx of Lost Truths, Sovereigns of Lost Alara, Dauntless Escort, Noble Heirarch, Birds of Paradise, Kor Firewalker, Wall of Omens, Plated Geopede, Ranger of Eos, and Kargan Dragonlord. | I was thinking good duress targets=Planeswalkers but yes I went with Doomblade maindeck and duress sideboard. Of course game 1 against blue/white control is now probably a auto loss for me but oh well.

| I would suggest mixing up your cards, matrin. Maybe 2 of each. I would have to have your decklist to be sure, however! In blue/black control the removal that I run is = 3 agony warp, 2 smother, 2 doomblade, 3 gatekeeper, 3 consuming vapors. I also run 2 each of both durress and inquisition of kozilek. My sideboard has 2 smother and 2 doomblade, along with 2 durress and 1 inquisition. This allows me to tune my deck to whatever matchup that I draw. If I had your list, I might be able to help more. But just remember that you can mixup cards. If you put 2 copys of a card into a 60 card deck, you will probably see at least one of those copys during the course of a game.

| Oh no problem on the spelling, I went with a standard version of Rock but I just did 3 Doomblade maindeck with 4 Maelstrom Pulse and left Duress in the Sideboard.
