| | Best color(s) to draft in M11 | So is blue/white the best strategy in M11 draft? I raise the question because I drafted mono red last night and went 4-0 without a single match loss and I know some people say it is a bomb intensive rare format but my only rare was Magma Phoenix which I think I played once all night and really made no difference in my deck. Seems like if people really pass on the red it can be good, black seems better than most people give it credit for. And I guess green is the one color I have not tried to draft heavily yet but it does seem to have the best creatures overall. What do you guys think, U/W still the best by far??

| I went 3-0 with 0 game losses last night with a red/blue build (Of course I still got second in a 10 man pod cause of crappy tie breakers). The other 3-0 was playing white blue. For me it was just a matter of super card advantage. I had 3 Scroll Thief, and then a handful of ways to remove blockers, 2 lightning bolts, 2 chandra's (whatever), a goblin tunneler. So that was pretty much it.
And as always, any deck that can have 60% or more effective removal (doomblades and bolts and what nots) can most certainly win with any creature that they get on board.

| I think red is actually pretty good. Mono red is faster than most decks in the format and you usually have your pick of the best red cards, as nobody usually drafts the color. I have also read about people having good results with mono-white agro and agressive white-red strategies. Mono black can also be strong.

| I have only drafted M11 once. I went 3-0 and won my draft playing red-black. I had a phenominal deck with 2 bolts, 2 d.blades, 1 d.mark, 1 fireball, 2 emberhauler, 1 hoarding dragon, 2 chandra spitfire. I loved the deck, but I havent drafted the format enough to be able to say for sure, however.

| In M11 Draft so far, I've 2-2 with U/G, 3-1 and 4-0 with U/W, 4-0 B/W, and 5-1-1 with Mono black.
