Jace is so good...
That it is better than Tezzeret in Vintage Tezzerator. The popular vintage artifact deck took out their one namesake planeswalker for a 3rd Jace, TMS. The final 2 of GenCon's vintage event was an exact 75 card mirror of this version.

Tezeret was really never that important in the deck. You could win just as easily with Time Vault and Voltaic Key. Tezzeret actually got pitched to Force of Will more than he was ever actually cast. He won the game singlehandedly when he hit play, but tapping out to cast a 5cc spell in Vintage is risky business.

Tezz was always a good way to close it, as that deck can go late game pretty regularly.
