Better than fireball? Absolutely. Better than Ghitu Fire? Absolutely. Best burn spell ever? Probably.
I will need 4 and I am sure my partner in Burn (Martin) will also!

I definitely can't contest that this card is really good. Especially when it reads: Pay 10 mana, deal 20 damage. It's ability to spread tons of damage between multiple creatures, ability to take out a creature and still hit the opponent in the face, and other things make this card really great. The only problem is I don't see mana Mono-Red burn decks having the craploads of mana that this card is perfect for. It should complement Mono-Red very well, but most times it will just end up dealing 3-4 damage to 1-2 targets. However, in a ramp deck much like the style that Josh played a while back, this thing is nutty.

A lot of times this card will be just like paying 5 mana to shock twice, or 6 mana to lightning bolt twice. Not that enticing at that range, but the ramp decks.....ohhhhh the ramp decks.

it seems like it could be a nice addition to an already strong grixis control deck.

One thing to point out: You have to have different targets. That means you can't choose the same player 5 times.

The RRx is significant, however. Traditionally burns spells that have cost RRx have seen very little play. Fanning the Flames and Rolling Thunder, and Titan's Revenge are all good examples of this. Having to wait one extra turrn to kill a creature is a serious downside to burn spells that cost an additional red mana to cast.

You are probably right Christian. I am hard pressed to find a situation where this would be better than earthquake and/or banefire. I guess in an all burn deck it could be nice, Multiplayer seems like a nice fit. And possibly the Ramp that Ben suggested.
Limited seems like an awesome place for it. I know I play Illuminate anytime I can get my hands on it, and this (damagewise) has a lesser cost.

I would definitely play this in limited too. It may end up seeing some constructed play as well, particularly in Zendikar block constructed. I used to play Rolling Thunder in Tempest block, and I was usually pretty happy with it. Day of Judgement and Comet Storm should provide quite a bit of mass removal for Zendikar block play.
