It seems a little better than Seijiri Refuge, which sees a decent amount of constructed play. The creature ability is nice in the late game, although the life gain from the Seijiri Refuge is also nice in slower control decks.

Although it means a lot of lands that come into play tapped.

Because no deck would ever play tons of CipT lands. *Points at vivid lands*

Unless you are playing 5 colors and have Reflecting Pools, I prefer to avoid too many comes into play tapped lands. The heavy reliance on lands that enter play tapped really hurt 5 Color Control decks at times.

It also sucks if your opponent can recur their Fulminator Mage.
