new wasteland that isn't as good is probably going to be great in standard.

It could be useful against things like Emeria the Sky Ruin and Valakut I suppose. You can't use it early to cripple your opponents mana production like Wasteland or Strip Mine though. It probably ranks about even with Dustbowl.

It definitely would. It means playing multiple lands in your pwn deck that only produce colorless mana though. You would probably need to be playing a mono-colored deck to use it effectively in the current Standard, and I definitely wouldn't want to play it in mono-red.

This thing is a must in most control decks after Worldwake. It's a kill spell with the manlands, and sets your opponent back a man. VERY GOOD for control.

It also sets you back a land and forces you to play lands that only produce colorless mana. I definitely wouldn't play this in Grixis, but it might be playable in UWR control. Mono-Black control seems like a good fit, although it would make Mind Sludge and Tendrils of Corruption less effective.
